A sparkling 1.0ct SI-1 clarity enhanced and G color princess cut diamond is placed atop this 2.10ct total weight engagement ring. Surrounding the solitaire are 1.10cts of round diamonds in a pave, channel and bezel setting.. This ring is made in 18k black gold (an advanced electroplating solution of black rhodium with stabilizer is applied to the ring for its black finish) and has a 6.5mm width at its largest point. Accompanying this ring is a full independent gemological laboratory UGL diamond certificate as well as a separate Front Jewelers store appraisal. Setting Information
Bezel Setting
This setting holds the diamond in place by having a continual groove cut out where the diamond girdle is inserted. The walls of the bezel are then folded down to keep the diamond in place.
Channel Setting
Diamonds are set girdle to girdle in a groove. This groove is made of precious metal and is secured by hammering down its walls.
Pave Setting
Multiple diamonds are set close together and are kept secure by gem spurs and beads. These beads are made of precious metal.
Prong Setting
A piece of precious metal known as a prong folds over an edge of the diamond. Multiple prongs are used to secure the stone, most commonly four prongs.
