It's set in 18k black gold (an advanced electroplating solution of black rhodium with stabilizer is applied to the white gold ring to achieve its dark finish) with channel set princess cut diamonds surrounded by round prong set diamonds. They are excellent quality VS-2 clarity and F color. The ring measures 3.5mm wide along the finger at its largest point. Accompanying the ring is a sealed appraisal from Front Jewelers reflecting its value of $3,995.
